Surface Preparation

• The surface must be cleaned of residues that may prevent adhesion and saturated with water.
• After application, the surface should be damp, not wet.
• Molds must be securely fixed.
• The molds to be applied must have sufficient strength, mold oil should be applied, and to ensure impermeability, suitable materials should be used to insulate around, underneath, and at the joints of the mold. The impermeability can be checked by filling the molds with water.

Application

• Before application, the surface should be roughened with pressurized water or sandblasting, moistened, and any rust on metal reinforcements should be removed.
• On 2.5-3.5 liters of water, half of the 25 kg GROUTVOX 501 package should be slowly emptied and mixed for about 3-4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
• The mixture should be made with a low-speed mixer (less than 500 rpm).
• Then, the remaining half of the material should be added to the mortar and mixed until there are no lumps.
• No additives not specified in the application instructions should be added.
• Water should not be added to the hardening mortar.
• The prepared mortar should be applied without delay.
• It should be ensured that there are no air pockets in the mortar; otherwise, air bubbles may prevent surface contact, leading to adhesion weakness.

Mixing Ratios

On 2.5-3.5 liters of water, half of the 25 kg GROUTVOX 501 package should be slowly emptied and mixed for about 3-4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

• The mixture should be made with a low-speed mixer (less than 500 rpm).

1. Avoid application below +5 °C and above +35 °C.
2. After application, protect from adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high temperatures (above +35 °C), rain, and frost.
3. Do not add powder to mortar that has exceeded its usage period.
4. The material should be mixed with a mixer of a maximum of 120 rpm.

1. It is recommended to use rubber gloves during product application.
2. The product should not be inhaled directly. A dust mask should be used if necessary.
3. Products should be stored out of reach of children.
4. Consult a doctor if necessary.
5. R38 Irritates skin.
6. R41 Risk of serious eye damage. Contains Chromium VI. Allergic reactions may occur.
7. R43 May cause sensitization by skin contact.
8. Keep out of reach of children.
9. S22 Do not breathe dust.
10. S24/25 Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
11. S26 In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
12. S37/39 In case of ingestion, seek medical advice immediately, showing the product container and label.
