S2 Class highly flexible, high-performance, reduced slip feature, long working time, cement-based adhesive mortar that provides water resistance.
Surface Preparation
- The surface must be clean, dry, smooth, and solid; any plaster thinner than 3 mm on the surface must be completely removed.
- Pore surfaces should be moistened and kept damp until the water layer disappears.
- The mixture should be prepared with a low-speed mixer. No additives not mentioned in the application instructions should be used.
- The prepared mortar should rest for 5-10 minutes. It should be re-mixed for 2-3 minutes before starting the application.
- To achieve a better adhesive surface, the mortar should be troweled according to the size of the selected tile after being spread on the surface with the flat side of the trowel.
- For the application of covering materials 40x40 cm and larger, combined adhesive methods should be preferred in areas with heavy pedestrian and load traffic.
- The tiles applied with force on the troweled mortar should be adhered within 20 minutes. Adhesion should not be performed on the mortar under unsuitable environmental conditions such as high temperature, low humidity, and wind; the mortar should be removed from the surface.
- For the application of ceramic, natural stone, travertine, decorative brick, granite, porcelain ceramic, clinker, and similar covering materials in horizontal & vertical in indoor and outdoor areas.
- In wet volume areas such as pools, baths, spas, saunas, and water tanks, for ceramic and mosaic applications.
- For ceramic covering on old ceramics and granite.
- For ceramic applications on challenging surfaces like plaster and paint.
- In wet volume areas like pool water tanks.
- In areas with temperature changes such as cold storage, shock facilities, exterior facades of buildings, and underfloor heating systems.
- In terrace and balcony applications.
Pour 6.5-7.5 liters of clean water into a clean, round-shaped container, and gradually add the 25 kg powder product while mixing until a homogeneous appearance is achieved without lumps. The mixture should be prepared with a low-speed mixer. Fresh mortar should be re-mixed before application after resting for 5 minutes.
- Avoid application at temperatures below +5°C and above +35°C.
- Pay attention to the amount of water remaining in the mortar.
- Do not add powder or water to the mortar that has exceeded its usage time.
- It is recommended to use latex gloves during product application.
- The product should not be inhaled directly. A dust mask should be used if necessary.
- Products should be stored out of reach of children.
